Today, I’m here with an Acer TravelMate P6 an ultra-portable and pretty stylish business laptop. First off let’s talk about the design it’s made of a magnesium alloy to it both light and yet strong.
Its weight around in around 1.1 Kilograms depending slightly on which exact model you choose and measures in 16.6 millimeters thin its 14 inch screen is set with narrow bezels and it is a full HD ips panel and even has a touch screen on top end model and what’s nice to see is that it stills keeps this map panel even with the touchscreen which is specially nice because when, I see often with touchscreens and their glossy panels which can often give sharp glares and reflections especially if you’re working under bright office lights and you don’t have this with a map panel so that’s really nice to see and it’s ips give us great viewing of angels 170 degrees and it’s even open out to 180 degrees to make sharing content with your co-workers easily.
So let’s get into the specs, because for a light weight design they didn’t compromise here at the top end you have a 10th Gen Intel Core-i7 processor and a dedicated NVidia mx250 graphics card. In terms of storage and memory there are few options available but it’s comes with up to 24 gigabytes of rapid ddr4 memory and up to one terabyte pcie ssd using nvme technology to overall give you a mega responsive and a snappy little device.
So let’s talk about the reliability this is another thing that P6 excels in. First off it’s is durable and strong it defend itself against slight knocks, accidental drops changes to temperature and humidity which make its great for business travel. Secondly it’s long lasting battery up to 20 hour’s which is crazy and out performs so which you can use it without any worry about the charger or charging. Another important thing it charges 100 in 2-hours so the Acer TravelMate P6 is reliable and secure.
In terms of physical features you have fingerprint reader that’s helps you for quick and secure logins alternatively you have login with a webcam and there nifty little camera which can slide on to and from your webcam when your webcam not in use the built-in security features an integrated trusted platform module 2.0 chip to deliver hardware based protection to secure hardware based authentication and to safeguard company data and there’s also vpro for remote management.
Let’s talk about the connectivity it’s uses Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 and optional esim enabled 4g lte and nfc connectivity. On the left hand side we have HDMI port or USB 3.1 type-A or in which we have thunderbolt 3 which is great and we have an audio jack. Over a right hand side we have an Kensington lock slot which is great and we have an Ethernet port and another USB 3.1 type-A this one uses offline charging which is really nifty and we have micro sd card reader which really sweet to see, So why else is good to know the touch pad is calling gorilla glass and that is really nice to use that is super smooth and really responsive and damage resistant too the speakers are up facing and a mic array for a greater clarity and Acer TravelMate P6 comes with a skype.
